Juan O. Alfonso
Juan Alfonso, holding two United States patents and five Engineering Awards in microelectronics, brings 30+ years experience in wireless radio networks and surveillance systems to Red Bison. Alfonso led Strategy and Business Development at Motorola for 18 years.
He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of Private Trunking and Conventional Radio Networks for Large Government, State & Local Law Enforcement, and Large Enterprise Customers. He was involved with the first generation of digital radio standards for mission critical applications, APCO 25 and TETRA. After Motorola, Alfonso oversaw all international business for DTC Communications in Nashua, New Hampshire. DTC is an equipment provider for corporal surveillance devices and was instrumental in post 9-11 investigative operations. Alfonso has since been an entrepreneur who has established and sold successful businesses in many areas of commerce.
Alfonso earned an MBA from Florida International University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami. He currently resides in the Seattle area with his family.
